Born in Guatemala, Leilin grew up in Los Angeles and has lived in Barcelona, Spain & Lyon, France prior to making New York his home. His career in fashion started in New York as the design assistant for the men's wear label, Duckie Brown, learning about men's suiting and textiles, while contributing to the seasons look books and runway shows. His exposure to the field of fashion styling began while working at Jed Root, by assisting the numerous stylists on the roster. From working with Edward Enninful and Kate Young, to being the Market Editor for CITY Magazine & Esquire's BIG BLACK BOOK, Leilin's work includes:

Editorial: American Vogue, Japanese Vogue, Chinese Vogue, Glamour, Cosmopolitan, InStyle, Italian Vanity Fair, EXIT, L'Uomo Vogue, Men's Vogue, GQ, Esquire, BIG Man and Fantastic Man.

Advertising: Giorgio Armani, Tommy Hilfiger, J. Crew, EQ-IQ, Nivea, Brooks Brothers, Samsung, Chicos, Estee Lauder, L'Oreal, Virginia Slims and Fox Television Network.

Presently Leilin is a contributor for German GQ and GQ Style and works closely with the publication's Fashion Director.
